Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the testwises.io website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by [Your Company Name](registered in [Country], company number [Number]; "we", "us", or "testwises"). By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

testwises provides online preparation materials — practice questions, mock exams, lecture notes, and analytics — for university entrance and AP examinations. Content is for educational purposes only and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any examination board (including but not limited to MUR, CISIA, CentraleSupélec, or the College Board).

2. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's consent.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity on your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions, Pricing & Payment

We offer one-time access packages (e.g. 1, 3, 6, 9 months) and auto-renewing monthly subscriptions. Current prices are shown on our Pricing page and may differ by exam and currency (EUR for IMAT, TIL-A, TIL-I, CENT-S; USD for AP).

  • One-time packages grant access for the duration shown (e.g. 30 days for 1-Month, 90 days for 3-Month). They do not auto-renew.
  • Monthly subscriptions renew automatically on the same calendar day each month until cancelled. You may cancel anytime via your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax), which will be added at checkout where required.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. By making a payment you also agree to Stripe's terms.

4. Refunds

See our separate Refund Policy for details. In summary, EU/UK consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for one-time purchases. Auto-renewing subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and will not bill further cycles. Past billing cycles are non-refundable unless we determine otherwise at our discretion (e.g. service failure).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Share your account credentials with others or allow shared use of your subscription.
  • Reproduce, redistribute, scrape, or republish our content (including questions, explanations, and lecture notes) without our express written permission.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service.

We may immediately suspend or terminate accounts engaging in such activity and pursue legal remedies for content theft.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including questions, explanations, lecture notes, graphics, software, and branding — is the property of testwises or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial study during your subscription period.

7. Disclaimers

We aim to provide accurate and up-to-date content but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that practising on testwises will result in a particular score or exam outcome. Exam structures and content may change without notice from the respective examination boards.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, testwises shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@testwises.io. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. On termination your right to access the Service ends; provisions intended to survive termination (e.g. liability, IP, governing law) will continue to apply.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email and/or via in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — e.g. England and Wales]. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of[Jurisdiction], except where local consumer protection law grants you a non-waivable right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
